18 No.1 Royal Crescent

Number 1 was the first house to be built in the Royal Crescent, John Wood's masterpiece of Palladian design. The magnificently restored town-house creates a wonderfully vital picture of fashionable life in 18th century Bath. Each room is an exquisite example of Georgian interior design with authentic furniture, paintings, carpets and textiles, and down below stairs is a splendidly equipped bustling Georgian kitchen.
