Mad Max Tours gives travellers a unique insight into the wonderful countryside around Bath. Our fully guided, small group tours, in comfortable minicoaches are led by experienced local guides, who have a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of the area. Our vehicles use a bio diesel blend made with recycled vegetable oil.
The STONEHENGE FULL DAY TOUR visits the megalithic monuments of Stonehenge and Avebury Stone Circles as well as Lacock National Trust Village, used in the filming of the Harry Potter movies & the BBC’s Pride & Prejudice. We also visit Castle Combe, voted the prettiest village in England. Departs daily at 8.45am, return approximately 4.30pm. Price £27.50*.
Our STONEHENGE HALF DAY TOUR visits Stonehenge and Lacock, taking in views of Bronze aged burial chambers, the Caen Hill flight of canal locks and making a photo stop of a thatched cottage. Departs daily at 1.15pm, return 5.15pm and selected days at 8.45am, return 12.45pm (phone for details). Price £15.00*.
The COTSWOLD DISCOVERY FULL DAY TOUR brings you the best of the Cotswold region. Stops usually include Bibury, Upper and Lower Slaughter and Stow-on-the-Wold or Bourton-on-the-Water as well as Cirencester, Northleach and Tetbury. One way / drop off service available by arrangement. Departs 8.45am Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday Mar-Oct (Nov - Feb phone for details), return approximately 5.15pm. Price £30.00.
All tours depart from outside Bath Aqua Glass House shop, Orange Grove, Bath. Maximum group size 16, minimum 6. Group bookings and personal tours by special arrangement.
