29: Wookey Hole and Caves

With new attractions, great new facilities Britain’s most spectacular underground caves the home of the infamous Witch Of Wookey, has been given a brand new lease of life. We’ve opened a ‘King Kong & the Valley of the Dinosaurs’, come and stroll amongst our fullsized dinosaurs, of relax in our ‘Enchanted Fairy Garden’ Indoors we’ve added a revolutionary pirate ship ‘ZAP ZONE’­ adventure which we’ve named ‘Pirates of the River Axe’. Come and watch our ‘Pirate Shows’ in the new Theatre or visit our Wookey Bear Collection.
We’ve transformed the place. Of course we’ve kept the best - the caves, the wonderful old paper mill, the Kidz Play Area’s, Victorian Penny Arcade and the Magical Mirror Maze, and our new museum but there’s so much more we’ve done to make Wookey Hole a great family destination What Ever The Weather.

Opening hours:Every day of the year except Christmas Day from 10am, until 5pm in summer and 4pm from November to March. Facilities for the disabled do not apply on the cave tour.
